Yes, and as La Palma 2018 approaches, John is working into the night and making great progress.

Even Keith can hardly contain himself..

    From casters to the frame...

A bit of John's tireless (indefatigable) effort for perfection, and these doors are aligned up really nice..

        • When the rubber hits the road

You can have a great amount of power in your engine, but if you can get that to stick to the road, well, it all goes up in smoke..

So how do you get 255/60 15" Road slicks on Stock 4.5" wide wheels?

Guess you will have to ask Kolton.

          • Yeah I am pretty sure they are or WERE, 4.5 Inch Kelsey Hayes 1558827 Wheels for Disc Brakes.
If they go on the Rear with 255X60R15's, they would be widened or used on the Front.

            Good joke though.

              Not exactly widened..

Kolton has taken the center out of a 4.5" wide Studebaker Disc Brake wheel and inserted it in to a Kelsey Hayes 6.5" wheel, to get that stock look but run wider tires.

In the meantime John is thinking about the interior, and getting for that.

                • Great job on the wheels. There's plenty of room under the fenders for lots of tire. I ran 10" wide tires under the back of my 54 Coupe for years. No clearance issues at all. This car is gonna be a blast.

Its nice to get that extra personal service touch from Will Sander or his wife as Lorilee sports the matching Regal purse.

It seems your car should be off the assembly line in a month or so.
The SDC should decree a Whistlers' day to celebrate that.
                                Nice day to all.
