It went to one of our northern neighbors George, see pic post above. We passed you heading east, as you were heading west on Rt 30 shortly after you crossed the river on your way back from your antique hunt. That sure was a purdy sight, that there purdy green 4X4 Stew-De-Baker on the trailer. Great to see you again, and thanks for taking that heavy front bumper off our hands.
ANOTHER GREAT YORK SWAP MEET! THANK YOU KEYSTONE CHAPTER!!!!!!!!!!

Has the Keystone chapter raffled more Avanti and Avanti IIs than other models? I seem to remember more of them.

My truck came from that area. Art Kendall is his name if I am not mistaken

Actually guys this to my knowledge is only the second true Avanti we have raffled. We have had the raffle since 1976 and there have been quite a few Avanti II and Newman and Altman cars, but also many others esp. Hawks. I bought and am offering this Avanti due to it's exceptional condition and it's striking appearance. As of the end of the meet there are already 900 of the total of 4000 tickets sold. I will be starting to advertise it very shortly in Turning Wheels to insure that a true Studebaker nut buys the winning ticket. ALSO--- I HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT BARRY IS INTERESTED IN SELLING THE 1960 HAWK RATHER THAN TRANSPORTING IT TO WESTERN CANADA. He has indicated that he is thinning his herd and thus that decision. If any one on the forum or that you know is interested in that car, please email me at larkregal62@aol.com orcall me at 717-574-1529 Thanks Gordon

I suggest starting a new topic/thread entitled something like: 1960 Hawk For Sale. This will attract more people to the information. By now, if people know that they haven't won the Hawk, they may not click on this thread/topic any longer.

Under the "forum" section, go to the "general Studebaker" section. At the top of the section, there is a place to click on to start a new topic/thread.
