The first 1964 Cruiser I owned was in the movie We Are Marshall that was filmed here in Huntington, West Virginia. I was driving in 2 scenes.

In the new season of the television series Fargo, one of the gangsters gets chauffeured around in a 1950 Commander 4 door. With the meticulous level of detail that show has in recreating the past, I have no doubt it was not only very intentional that this particular gangster is not yet being driven around in a Cadillac or similar luxury car; but also likely intentional that he's not quiiiiiiite up to the top of the Studebaker line yet either. Maybe someday he'll earn that extra 4 inches or so of rear leg room that a Land Cruiser would offer him!

I'd attach a pic, but have never been able to figure out how to post one much larger than a thumbnail here. Any advice would be welcomed.

In a Perry Mason in the opening sequence, a guy hitches a ride in the back of a cargo truck going into a movie studio. When the guy hops out, there is a 62 White GT Hawk in the parking lot.

I'm not sure if I've posted on this thread before and don't have time to go through all 53 pages, so ....

Back in 2006, my car was used in a horror/comedy film called Razor. I spent one afternoon and four cold nights from sundown to sunup in the desert around Lake Havasu City, AZ, where I live. The film was never released but in 2016 I found out it was available on iTunes. Now it's on something called Vudu.

Not sure who wrote the script for this movie but they must have known something about cars. In one of the early scenes, one actor asked "Is that a Studebaker?" and the other actor said "Yes, and it has a flathead V-8 engine". In the burnout scene, a lot of smoke and audio from what sounds like a dragster, were added in the studio.

Here is a photo of them setting up to film on my first day. We did a few takes going down the westbound onramp to I-40.

I only saw a few minutes of "The Thin Red Line". About half way into the movie there are 2 US6's.

"Mr. Soft Touch" 1947, about 2 minutes in there a is a '47 Champion ? sitting at the toll gate.
