  • Studebaker MPG Challenge fuel tank

Hi, cool Studebaker MPG Challenge fuel tank for sale on EBay.
Don't have a clue how to do a link but if you search for
Studebaker gas tank you will see it.
    Neat item! Maybe Museum item!

You mean it is one of those little door mounted Fuel Mileage demonstrators that dealers bought to prove the MPG of Scotsmans?

I remember Dad brought home a '58 Scotsman 4 Door with a small glass jar gadget on the passenger front door for Demo drives.

It is easy to create a link, just click and drag on the address I.D. of the Ad, hit control "C" (copy) and go to your Forum Post and click control "V" (paste), done!

Yes StudeRich, you are exactly correct!
It is really neat, has the Studebaker circle logo on it
with associated pipes and shut off valve.
Doing this post on my phone, will try to create the
Link tomorrow at work, with the PC.
      Thanks

I've always wanted to get one of those, and it's probably worth every bit of the opening bid, but too high for me.

This topic has been previously covered. That mileage tank is from 1940 not 1958. I have a NOS one. Incidentally the museum already has one.
