Understood Pat, I am trying to sell my wife on a second Studebaker, she would go for yours, I am sure of that. Pretty car.

A transtar just like Pete in green! Then again, I'm with Dnevin, I'd be delighted if Santa just fixed Bess and repainted her. Or even just fixed up Ed... Ah... where's dear old Santa when you actually really need him?

Oh, I almost forgot, HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

I'm really disappointed that Santa,.... (Or Richard Quinn),..... Or ,.......???.
Hasn't chimed in and made my simple little wish come true.

I would want any Studebaker that's just nicely done, turn key and ready to go anywhere. No frills, no rust, just a good driver.

Really more than anything this Christmas I'm looking forward to some relaxing and family time. Seems like as of late I've been going 200mph in ten different directions and some R&R will do me good.

*but should santa decide to put a red with ivory roof '53 Commander Starliner under my tree, I woulnd't mind!!

My needs are meager and the Studebakers I already have under my tree probably surpass my resources. What I need under my tree is another garage bay.

    Dear Santa,

May i have the "catfish car" for Christmas? that's what my Daddy and others called them. I have learned the correct name is: 1958 Packard Hawk. I would also appreciate if you could go back in time (I know you can do that), and remove it from the end of the assembly line in South Bend, Indiana. There is room in my garage next to my '51 Business Coupe (which I have already thanked God for choosing me as her caretaker), so proper storage would not be a problem!

    Thank you.

    Your Friend,

    Corvanti

1953 coupe. Commander,Regal,C-body. Velvet black, with scarlet red interior. Three speed with O/D. Full wheel covers, trunk light, under hood light, glove box light, clock, cigar lighter, tissue dispenser, day/night mirror, rear window defogger. and of course heater and defroster. WSW tires, wire wheel covers, gas door guard, and floor mats. 4.10 rear end would be nice, and a dry type air cleaner.

(p.s.- Of course it needs to be a nos car leftover at an old dealership, somewhere in time)

    Am I gonna get it?

The greatest "Studebaker" wish I could have would be the 1956 Golden Hawk I owned for nearly a half century should suddenly appear on Christmas morning and take me for a ride around South Bend.
