I'll credit the work of blending of the panel between the hood and bumper area and the quad lamps. Its not to bad to look at but not to own.

Not as severely slanted as the 58-60 Lincoln, more like Facel Vega. Did someone put a Hemi in there as well? I wasn't expecting to like it at all before I blew up the image. Where is it today?

To me it looks better than what the factory did in '58.

I've always been a sucker for these kinda customs since I was a kid & saw this kinda cars on Hot Rod Show in Stockholm, I think it was 'round -68 or so, & slanted lights was pretty common then.
& even thou Studebakers are clean-designed, & I prefer that(!), I'm still impressed that someone has been able to make something even cleaner by flattening the area between the grill & lights, & I think it loox as if it's original like this.
It's not from 61-62 Chrysler thou, they're pointy at the top.

I like the look, would like to see a side by side, if that was made from a 62, as it seems from the caption.

I think I'll pass on this design. I think Studebaker had it right. Have you noticed that many manufactuers have done retro cars. Was Studebaker the first, redesigning the GT Hawk from the old hawk with a modern roofline and trunk?

The customizer who did the quad headlights on the GT Hawk has a much better eye than those factory designers who put them on the same era Ferrari and Rolls-Royce. They were about the worst.

I could live with the quad headlights because I own the George Barris custom Avanti with quad headlights, but the convert with all the bling, I dunno . . .
