That's not a correct serial number on that P.H. It might be something off a Colorado title. If one uses the last four of that number, than the data plate on the door pillar should read 58LS1029. Also the wrong radiator.

I believe this was on Ebay last year but didn't meet the reserve. There is also a P.H. coming to the Mecum Kissimmee, FL Auction in Jan. It will be interesting to see what it brings.

Does anyone else think the dagmars on the front bumper of this particular PH are larger than normal?

Am wondering about the shadow of the door on the rocker - something is not within specs...

I thought that 57 Golden Hawk looked familiar. It sold for 26K on ebay in October. Here's the old link:

Looks like the side isn't mylar overlay. As far as the price, if its a true frame off, 45,000 is cheap. Here in New Jersey, restoration shops want $100 an hour. Thats why I decided to take a whack at attempting to restore my own Avanti. As far as the Hawk. I'm just doing cosmetics on it. Its on the 2nd paint job and has the original leather interior. The back seats alone have no rust on the seat springs, has the factory tags & the factory plastic.

I have met with Tom. The car is indeed #29 of the 588. Pat has a great eye, there is something going on with the door/rocker. The mylar is real. It is bubbled up in a few spots. It does have a custom aluminum radiator which was installed when the air conditioning was done, which was done very cleanly. From the sounds of it the car has been in Harlingen, Texas its whole life.
