I'd love to see a scan of that build sheet.

Bob, the options brochure shows a smooth locking gas cap.

Ken , you'd be looking for AC-3195 , but there was also a AC-3415 locking cap.
The AC-3195 aren't usually that hard to find, always seem to see a couple NOS ones at the York swap meet.

Paul I'am sure glad you were around when I sold my set, have not missed them at all and the money help pay the rent that month.

I have had a set of NOS wheel discs installed on my 66 Daytona. I did not use clips,I had a set of narrow trim rings that push on the normal way,I took these and the wire wheel discs to a body shop where they installed the discs on the narrow trim rings with the newer .type of body glue they use to glue body panels. My wheel discs now just snap on and off like conventional discs,no more fidling aroun d with those bothersome clips.A friend of mine also did the same thing only he used silver solder to attach the 2 togather.

Bob, the build sheet just has "Locking Gas Cap", no part number. The chassis & body parts catalog shows the AC 3195 for F-Y bodies, (sedans) and the AC 3415 for P bodies, (station wagon). So, you're right, I need the AC-3195 locking fuel cap.

Thanks, Gary. I'm on the left end of the country and not familiar with some of the meets on the other end. I know Hershy is right after a big rain so that the mud is waist deep.

Well that makes the NOS set I bought at the SB meet a good buy for $450.00 !
