  • Time for Christmas songs again

Well, it's time to Studebaker up some Christmas songs again. I'll be putting this one in the December issue of Hawk Talks.

    Deck The Roads
    Words by: Jon Stalnaker Sr
    Deck the roads with Studebakers

    Follow me in your Avanti

Do not drive your Ford or Monti

Bullet nose or Lark or Cruiser

    Superchargers up and whining

    Silver Hawk with silver lining

    Make our Studees more abundant

Use your savings up to fund it

    Resurrect that old Commander

Use your fancy brand new sander

    Deck the roads with Studebakers

Smile and wave at double takers

Show the world our cars are drivers

    Be they custom or survivors

This is GREAT STUFF! I like both of these songs. It must have taken serious time to come up with all these appropriate words and the right song, AMAZING!

We will have to sing these at our Chapter Christmas Party also.

Great songs! Here is a suggestion for another- "I don't want "A" Lark for Christmas"..."All I want for Christmas is Two" Thanks to Ms. Carey! Keep up the good work!

This is such a nice song! Amongst the haze of mass consumerism concerning many year-end holidays, expressing gratitude often fails to grab the top spot on many people's holiday lists. Being thankful can be an excellent way to deal with holiday stress, however. Here are a few economical ways to express gratitude, making Christmas, New Year's or any other day a time for healing through the power of appreciation - as opposed to paying $100 or more per hour for a therapist. Pay for Christmas gifts with a payday loan, like what I always do.
