John, I am engulfed in the well wishes of everyone, even those who try to cause trouble. Thanks again.

There is no reason to feel bad about not making a connection about me, at that time Bob wasn't doing anything on the car and you did not yet have a connection to him. It is just amazing how small this big old world is sometimes.

It will be about 6 months before I will be able to start serious work on the car. Although, I am going to try to get it started tomorrow so I can drive it on the trailer to take it home. Thanks again to everyone for all the kind words, thoughts and prayers. They mean a lot to us.

I too was shocked by this sad news. Bob sent me a few messages of encouragement with my 1925 Delivery Van restoration which he was very interested in. He will be missed. RIP Bob.

"Welcome", you really need to learn where your "delete" button is before you "send". totally inappropriate!!!

Bob always had something nice to say when responding to threads in my little corner of the Studebaker universe. My condolences to his family & friends. Scott

I noticed the first few posts yesterday, and hoped the outcome was not going to be as it is. I only conversed with Bob here on the forum, but he always had positive ideas and wanted the best for the club. I will truly miss reading his comments. My sympathy to all his family and friends, I'm sure there are very many who will also miss his posts. Bill Van Alstyne

I'm not too sure what else there is to say that has not already been said.

We lost a 'good' guy, and we will all miss him and his humor 'round here.

I am very sorry for your loss Richard.
As you can see (read) you're not alone.

Sorry for your loss Richard . Now for the good news !!! Bob may have been
only a one car guy , the restoration of his father's car , but maybe there is
more than one Studebaker in the family ! Back in Post #45 , one of the pix
is a carport shot and clearly shows an Onan Generator . It's a stretch but
maybe the genny is of Studebaker origin as Studebaker owned Onan for a
time . Richard , during cleaning up at Bob's , don't dispose of the Generator .

I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. Bob was an asset to the forum and his posts will be missed. I never had the chance to meet you, but I am sure we would have become friends. Deepest sympathies go out to your family from my family.
