It's actually dark navy. It's runs great bought it in Indianapolis and drive it 400 miles home with no issues.

It has the electric overdrive switch ( 2 SPD rear end style ) on the floor shifter so you have 6 speeds ran on highway at 70

Now I am jealous. What a cool truck. Tell us a bit more about the engine. It looks great with the dual carbs and aluminum head. Congratulations.

Great truck. I saw it for sale, but I knew I didn't have the cash. I had to settle for adding the pictures to my screen saver.

Must be fun split shifting with that 2 speed rear end!

That's a real sweetheart, John. Cool beans.

You said you bought it in Indianapolis. When was that? Recently? E-bay or private ad, or did you see it at a show here? Just curious.

'Really a nice truck; 'love the 2-speed rear end feature. Congrats. BP

I just noticed that the oil filter canister on the firewall looks like a stock version just relocated, repainted, and pin stripped. I never thought about one looking that good. With the other red accessories it looks just as good as one of those high dollar bee hive filters....maybe better in this setting.
