  • A little info please.

    Hi all,
I'm in another non- Stude club as well as my local chaper, being the only Stude in this other predominatley Holden and other GM and Ford car club I cope a fair bit of ribbing.
But sometimes I just like to put them in their place. The first Holden was built in 1948, a very base model with a 138 cid OHV 6 cyl, 3 speed on the column. Can some of you learned gentlemen give me the following information so I can bury them in it.
    1. How many models did Stude offer in '48
    2. What was standard and what optional extras could a buyer get.

And any other info that you think will help.

My first car was a 1948 Champion convertable. It had Overdrive, hill holder, radio, heater, electric top,and cicar lighter. Thats all the accessories I can think of right now.
I know they made Champions and Commanders In 4dr,2dr, Starlight, and convertable body styles. Also the Champion came as a business coupe, and of course there was the Land Cruiser.
