All those obnoxious modifications, and no pictures of them? What is this guy thinking?
Here's the question I sent in:
Hello,
With the significant modifications to the engine and running gear, could you post some pictures of the under hood, engine, under the frame, the interior and more please?
It's hard to sell a modified car without pictures of the modifications.Last edited by RadioRoy; 10-19-2012, 05:03 PM.RadioRoy, specializing in AM/FM conversions with auxiliary inputs for iPod/satellite/CD player. In the old car radio business since 1985.

This (these) car(s) may be a bit extreme, but the idea of obtaining better fuel mileage isn't. With todays questionable gasoline blends and super high prices, "R' type engines are just not practical
for anything like a daily driver. I've always thought that a smooth running, non-fussy 259 (or even the rarer 224) CI Studebaker V8 would be sweet under the hood of a '63-'64 Avanti.

I can't imagine anyone starting the bid-not at $7500. Somebody might bid if they see it and drive it first, maybe not! In-experienced ebayer,Ebay loves them. From the sound of it,you'd need a comlete running chassis to put it back to stock. "small Chevy engine, mounted sideways" -probably sub-framed. "Little rust creeping BACK",does that mean it's full of bondo? Not a bad looking body, and the paint colors are nice.Oglesby,Il.

regarding putting a fwd drive power train in a rwd car to save a few mpg seems like a lot of work for little gain, and personally I think I would adopt a different plan of action. regards, JuniorLast edited by junior; 10-20-2012, 03:27 PM.sigpic
