Many of you know of my 64 Bermuda Brown Cruiser. I started installing Turner brakes on it last fall. Lack of funds slowed me down, then the doctor convinced me to give up driving. Bottom line: I'm selling my car, probably for half my investment or less. Me and the car are in Essex, MD. 443-460-8507

Sorry to hear of the turn of events, Charles.
Was this the car formerly owned by Lee DeLaBarre and Pat Drnec?
How about some photos and a price? BPWe've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Sold my 1962; Studeless at the moment
Borrowed Bams50's sigline here:
"Do they all not, by mere virtue of having survived as relics of a bygone era, amass a level of respect perhaps not accorded to them when they were new?"

Sorry about the slow replies. I can't get on the web too often these days. Phone is easier then pm's for me. Matt: if you buy it, will it get a write up in TW?
Looking for $3k or so. Maybe a third of what I've got in it.
Got any old or interesting bicycles? Might consider them as part of the deal. I can still take a bike on the road!

There was a post that the Cruiser was sold, but I see that that post has been deleted. Did the sale fall through or was publicity not wanted or something else?Gary L.

Mr. Eck currently does not have the means to accept a cashier's check or money order in his name. One form of payment that he requested was attempted this morning and is not obtainable. Short of putting cash in a fedex envelope and sending it off to him, there is not an easy way to make it work.
Also, if somebody is still interested in the car, they should Google his phone number found above (443-460-8507) and check out the 7th link google gives (the backpage.com link). It is not a former user of his phone number, as in one of the pictures, is his former 56/57 Stude sedan in the background and is the same Nikki as shown as shown in this previous form thread about the cruiser,
http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...4-Cruiser-pics!
I'm sure that there is an explanation for this, but seeing this makes me uncomfortable sending cash off across the country. I hope things get better for Mr. Eck, and he finds somebody locally who can give the car a good home and give him the cash asap he needs.

Well looks like I have a Studebaker again..gotta do a little work before I can get it home.
Paul funny thing is that the car has a Joe Egle dealer sticker on it, so he sold it new before he bought and resold it,pretty cool. Hopefully you will see it soon enough...would be great to have a helpful local Stude guy to guide me through getting it on the road..hint,hint
Gonna let this thread die, will start another when I get things set up and get her home.
