  • Studebakers in Drawing Class

    Back in January lstude posted a pic of the cover of an 8th grade term paper he had done in 1958 using S-P related symbols. What amazed me about it was that I did almost exactly the same thing that same year. I mean we coulda' been sitting in the same class copying from each other! I promised to post mine when I found it again, so here it is:

    If we had been in the same class I am sure we would be accused of copying each other's paper.

    What did yours have on the inside?

    I put the two side by side so people can see how similar they are.

            Mostly mechanical drawings. Orthographic views and isometric views. Some advertising lettered in different styles. Here's the only item that might be even a little bit related to S-P:

                While I wasn't even AWARE of Studebaker-Packard symbols in 1958, I was drawing airplanes. Once I figure the picture posting problems I'm having, I'll put one up for comparison.

                Miscreant adrift in
                the BerStuda Triangle


                1957 Transtar 1/2ton
                1960 Larkvertible V8
                1958 Provincial wagon
                1953 Commander coupe

                No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.
