  • 1957 Packard Clipper owners manual needed

Hello, Looking for a owners manual for my 1957 Packard Clipper wagon. Anyone out there have a spare to sell me? Or do we have any leads for a supplier?
    Thanks again,

To: 57pack,-----(1957 Packards are VERY nice vehicles) Can't help You with that owners manual other than to say the sedan and the wagon manual no doubt are one in the same. Good luck!

      Hello,
I think that the 1957 Packard Clipper Shop manual is to be used as a supplement to the 1956 Studebaker Passenger Car shop manual.

There are two original manuals on Ebay.
      http://www.ebay.com/itm/1957-Packard...0401ee&vxp=mtr
      http://www.ebay.com/itm/1957-PACKARD...8ab212&vxp=mtr

1956 Studebaker shop manual looks like this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Studebaker-1...35feea&vxp=mtr

I see that Studebaker International list them on page 23 of the 2012 catalog "1956-57 Champion, Commander & President, 57 Packard, 57 Scotsman & Hawk."

Packard manual 801547 suggest you contact SI for price.

        info@studebaker-intl.com should do it.

I believe he is looking for the owners manual that came in the glove box, not the shop manual.

57pack here, Yes, Warren is correct , it's the owners manual I'm
Looking for which would be in the glove box. Sorry I should
            Have made my request clearer.
Can't imagine why folks are compelled to remove them!
But then my car is 55 years old and I bought it
from the salvage yard! I guess I was lucky to get
            the title! Thanks to all!

Thanks Bob, I went to the Packard site you suggested, download a copy, printed out a copy and put it together.
Looks great, and I thank you for the info.
I would like to obtain an original copy someday, so if anyone comes across a copy, please keep me in mind.
Thanks again! What a great resource we have here!

The item I mentioned was the owners manual, at least the gentleman has a manual now.

Studebaker has the 57 Clipper service manual NOS also I think I saw the owners manual there. There is also a red cardboard or heavy paper warning that says to use premium fuel. This warning is after the last page of the owners manual as posted on PackardInfo. Was looking for it knew it had been loaded onto Packardinfo

I have one and was willing to sell it. I have since sold all of my 57's. The only problem.....I went looking for it tonight and can not find it.
I know it is yellow and white but can seem to find it. Sorry

Might want to keep an eye on ebay. They turn up everyonce in a while and go for 50 to 75.00
