To: K-Hawk,------ Yes, not only was 'Mr Ed' an enjoyable show with a lovable cast of characters, but the Studebakers that were used were certainly a bonus! (to us) Addison drove an Avanti sometimes.

This past week they had a episode on where the wife wanted a new car. To make the husband feel bad, she hitched Ed up to a carriage to pull her friends around in. (ONE of the ladies was supposed to be quite over-weight - they commented at one point that she weighs 220 lbs and Wilbur almost gasps with shock - obviously a long time ago).

Very last scene of the episode, the wife has a brand new 1961 four door station wagon - full side view then a close up of them sitting in the car and Wilbur shutting the door - very nice.
