        Cruising in California in 1957

I only saw one Studebaker but loved the revisit to the era.

Did I see a red ball Studebaker logo ahead on the right as the car waited to make a left turn about half way through the video?

            Drive around Hollywood - 1957

On the first link I saw a Studebaker Dealers big round red sign on the right side of the street and also at least one Studebaker. Both of these are about the half way point.

Here is a great vintage video with lots of cars that were "drivers" back in 1957. (the film says 1953 but its 1957) It a trip down memory lane... check out how the person(s) taking the video from there care almost t-bone a T-Bird making a left turn & pedestrians in a cross walk are "fair game". Thanks to Solon Economou for finding this gem & passing it on.

57s a good bet. The RTD busses were changed from red and white to two tone green around 54/55, as a kid I rode a lot of them!

Rats! I thought we were going to set a new record for how many threads could be started on exactly the same topic. Geeze, what a spoil-sport you are, Clark! BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

                        Ayn Rand:
"You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality."

                        G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.

While looking at these cool 1950's L.A. Pics I found this really neat youtube 1960 Auto Show slideshow of a very nice Studebaker exhibit with about 10 Larks at 1:00-1:01.

The Hawk and Trucks if there, are hiding.

At 2:27-2:30 is a Pic of a 1963 Auto Show Stude. Exhibit which the author of this compilation admits got misplaced in this 1960-'61 slideshow.
