  • Last Saturday's Whatcom County Chapter Meeting and Outing 08/11/12 with a Stude. Celebrity!

    Last Saturday we had a great Chapter Meeting at Scott Hall's Farm and later a tour with the Antique Studebaker Club local Chapter to a huge Annual Hammer Family Picnic at a beautiful 500 acre Washinton Ranch, many Car Clubs and Car people were invited.

    At the Hall's Home: Gary Taylor of Vancouver, BC Canada's '36 Dictator and my Son (hotwheels63r2) Mike's '65 Cruiser, Overdrive V-8:

    At the Meeting with interim President Tom Smith presiding, before the Presidential Election where my other Son Dave (StudeDave57) was elected Chapter President.

    Did I mention that when Washington Car Guys throw a party, it is first class with fresh Flown-in Alaska Red Salmon, Swordfish, Chicken, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, dozens of salads, Cake, Pie etc. all pot luck, with supplies and main Courses provided and in one of the most beautiful settings in the Country!

    Yes those are restored John Deer Tractors, there were many nice old Tractors on the Farm.

        Wait'll you see the '58 President hardtop that same owner/builder is working on.

        We are quite spoiled up here, ain't we? There's so much scenery so close it boggles the mind!!!

            Glad to hear the election worked out well.
            I'm still in San Diego working, but returning home tonight and will be at the NW Can Am Meet in Tacoma tomorrow.

            Rich glad you were able to make it to the Hammer Picnic and bring some Studes. I also see someone got to drive a nice 65 Sport Coupe.

            The Hammer collection contains some great pre war Studebakers!
