  • Woody to be on Display Thursday July 26!

The long awaited arrival of the Woody will be Thursday July 26th at the Studebaker National Museum! When you are in South Bend, please plan on taking a look at the culmination of many years of planning, time, teamwork, and dedication that made this car so special. It will be front and center on the turnstile at the Studebaker National Museum on July 26th as part of the 48th Annual International Meet of SDC. Attached is a picture of the Woody at the Museum going through its final prep before being put on display.

Hate to ruin the surprise, Bob, especially if you are coming to South Bend. I am sure there should be some pictures though.

I can understand the Museum keeping the Woody front and center on site. I'm sort of surprised, given the proximity, it's not to be on the Concours field Thursday.
I suspect, if Phil was still with us, he would be vaulting to have it on the Bendix test track.

Originally the plan was to have it at the show on Thursday, but in the end it was decided that there would be too much going on to move it around that much as well as the risk of it getting hurt; it's been through enough...

I'm with you there Brad. What better honor to give the old car than to let it circle around the woods where it was left to rot?

I'm really anxious to see the woody. I understand that we need to pay admission to the museum this time. 5 years ago, members of SDC were admitted to the museum at no charge.
