  • 63 Daytona in Minneapolis area on Craigs's list

Just got this today from a buddy. Looks nice, but price negotiable means what?

It usually means that they know their asking price is too high, but in this case he didn't put a price. Seller may want you to convince him that your offer is fair or he thinks he can sell the car better by negotiating to his price.

      Nice car.
I guess that everyone in Plymouth doesn't drive Plymouth cars.

Probably because they don't make Plymouths any more.

Wait! Don't they still make them in Canada? They have Dodge motors in them?

Thanks for the heads-up Roy. I emailed the seller but havent heard back yet. The location is about 60 miles away and I would go look at it tonight if the seller responds soon. Perhaps it already sold??

Brent, you have too many larks already!!!!

Don't like the "mileage" excuse. Ya gotta know approximately if you haven't driven it much. Unless you bought it with the same excuse!

think the body of my 60 convert can just slide right over that?

Physically, yes, but not correct and not with enough frame strength. Of course, you would also have to change the pedals, etc. and deal with the different firewall.

I received contact from the seller today and may look at the car Saturday morning. I guess buying another Lark wont happen as Gohdes has forbid me to do so.
Even so, it will be fun to at least give it a look over as I dont recall having ever seen this car around before. I will post results/impressions here upon my return.

The daughter of the owner is the one whom listed it on the website and is the one I communicate with and she just told me that her father just realized that he had other plans this weekend and that he wont be available until the following weekend. Time will tell.

I'll give you a heads up when or if I go to look at it. As for more information about the car, here is what I received thus far in her words:

"It came from Langdon, ND, and has been sitting in a MN garage.
Minimal rust, we have never done a rust repair.
Runs a drives well. There has been some difficultly with starting.
Does have a small oil leak.
We are looking around 4000.00 or best offer."
