  • '56 President, Copart Auction last September

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone bought or knows what become of this '56 President Classic auctioned by Denver Copart last September?

Looked to be in nice shape, doesn't show up in their current on-line auctions.

The way I understand it, they buy them cheap usually at Police Impound lots, auctions etc. but because their many lots across the Country have thousands of Cars, they have to be moved quickly, so most low interest Cars by their members, local dealers etc. like a Studebakers will not meet minumin bid or be bid on at all and end up scrapped right away if their on-line auction fails.

Private buyers find it very difficult and expensive to purchase them because of all their fees, requirements and those of their approved "Dealers" who have to buy the car for you, of course with more fees.

So where is the President? Most likely it's a Kia by now.
