  • Wiper washer bag position?????

So I got a really nice wiper washer kit from a forum member, thanks Jeff! The instructions are a little hard to figure out, but I think I understand every thing except where the bag mounts on my 1958 President. Anybody have a pic of one, or know exactly where it gets mounted. I think it's not on the battery on this car???????? HELP!

I found this pic of a Packard, 1958 any opinions? http://billstudepage.homestead.com/f...packardeng.jpg

This may not help you with your 58 but at least it'll bring your post to the top.

On my 55 the battery sits in a box that is mounted on the driver-front fender. There is a steel piece with tabs sticking out on each side. One set of tabs hold it to the top piece over the battery and the other two tabs on the other side fit the wiper wash bag. That way you can easily remove it to fill just by picking it off the tabs. I'm pretty sure that S.International sells this bracket, I just dont know if thats what they did in 1958'

    Good Luck, Murray

      Hello There

I think it mounts on the battery like in the Golden Hawks.
      Look at this thread: http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...Battery-Damage

      Riversidevw might have the answer.

A picture of the washer bag installed in my 1957 Golden Hawk.

      Have a nice day.

Thanks Murray, but I think your car is very different to mine.
