  • Are SDCers Bob & Sharon Bruner Responsible for This?

We've heard of increasing product placement in advertising, but I'll betcha' Charleston, South Carolina SDCer Bob Bruner or his wife, fellow SDC member Sharon Bruner, had something to do with this :

Sharon was formerly on the editorial staff of this swanky southern magazine, Garden & Gun, so could this 1956 Power Hawk "just have happened" to appear during her tenure?

If not, it makes a good story...and it's nice to see the Hawk there in any case. (And don't overlook the classy wood boat with early Kiekhaefer Mercury Quicksilver power.) BP

We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

That car belongs to Cletus and Peggy Heaps in the Tallahassee, Fl area. It's a Power Hawk and they do actually use it to tow their vintage boats. Nice car and even nicer people.

Excellent, Matthew; thank you. OP edited to read Power Hawk now that we have your confirmation. BP
