  • June 10, 2012 Spooner, WI Badger Wheels car show pictures!

Another forum member has pictures to share but he may have had technical diffuculties so I will post what I have. Dwayne, feel free to add more pics. As for the show, it was my first time there and I enjoyed it very much. Nice assortment of cars, trucks, farm tractors, a few motorcycles and military jeeps too. Met up with some Studebaker friends and was introduced to some others as well.
As nice as the show was, the drive there and back was nearly as pleasant with nice countryside to view. On my drive back home, I stopped at the 'Drive In' at Grantsburg for a thick hamburger and frosted mug of Frostop rootbeer (and was given a discount for arriving in a vintage car) and then drove to a wayside rest at the shore of the St. Croix River (part of Governor Knowles State Forest) for a short hike and photograph session prior to crossing the bridge and getting back on MN soil.
By the way Klif, did you get sunburned as I did?

1952 Pace Car clone. Very nice!

What was the price on the '54 coupe?

Looks like a nice showing. And if the price was right that Champ left with a new owner - looked nice.

I think he was asking $11,500.

I believe Klif is correct as that is the price I recall. I dont believe it sold and the owner drove it away about an hour before the show ended.
