  • Crossroads Zone Meet

It appears the host hotel for the Crossroads Zone Meet is now sold out. When I booked our room yesterday I was told we had the last room. For those who have not yet made hotel reservations, can someone in the meet group advise the closest alternatives. Also can you tell us where the concours and swap meet will be held? Also, is the banquet facility within walking distance of the host hotel? Thanks in advance.

Hi Stu , good to hear they are sold out.....that means there should be lot of Studebakers !
For what its worth , Sharon told me that everything was within walking distance from the host hotel and there was other hotels in the same location.
If you google Frankenmoth you will find other motels.
Glad to see your going....we are sure looking forward to their meet.
One nice thing is the car show is on grass !

The Northeastern Michigan chapter must of said their prayers , the weather Gods are on their side...the forcast for this coming weekend looks fantastic !
Just finished up giving the old Stude a wax job , checked all the running gear fluids , grease job, topped up the gas tank...she's ready to go ......wife and I are really looking forward to this meet , I know she really needs a get away , shes had a tough couple of months lately ( and some parking lot tailgating won't hurt either) Hope to see you there and I do know there are some STFers heading there as well ......see you there !

Hats off to the NE Michigan Chapter for hosting one of the best zone meets we've attended.
The venue was great and those people worked hard to make everyone feel at home. Lots of Studebakers and lots of friends made the trip....if you weren't there you sure missed a good one.
What a place Frankenmuth is and I heard alot of comments that it would make a great place to host an International someday !
I'll post my pictures later on , right now I just need to put my feet up and take a break from driving all day <g>

My wife grew up in Frankenmuth and has good small-town memories of living there. All I know is that it's impossible to not get a great chicken dinner, served family-style, there! Zehnder's has been there for like a hundred years or something.

Thanks to you all, the attendees and your fantastic cars & trucks, it was indeed a great zone meet. The weather, food, vehicles and the many new friends made it a great weekend for Julie & myself (Northeastern Mich & WLEC Members). Looking forward to seeing many of you again shortly in SB. Just loved that white Wagon.

I believe that it belongs to Malcomb Barry and is the sweetest T5/R2 powered setup with AC that I've seen. One of my favorites at the show.

I agree, a well done effort by the NEMSDC folks.

..and finally one of the main reasons we go to these events.....to hang out with friends and do a little tailgating <g>

.....I hope everyone that went enjoyed themselves , I know we did .....great job Sharon and Dave !
