1962 Lark two door wheelbase change?

Did Studebaker actually lengthen the wheelbase on the two door Lark models (108.5 " to 109") or did they just round up? Didn't seem worthwhile to lengthen the frame one half inch. Any thoughts? Quentin

The extra half inch is made up in the rear spring, diff housing placement. That said, the frames are still not exactly the same. The '62 up has an extra 3 inches at the back for the longer overhang along with some clutch pivot changes in the front.
