    Yes, I know that you were kidding. I was just giving my overall response to what I think Matthew should do with the piece (eBay - don't repair/replate).

    I wouldn't throw it away. I also wouldn't spend any time or money on restoring/refurbishing it. I suggest putting it on eBay and see if there is any interest in it. Let someone that needs it spend the money for rechrome.

    I think it's restorable and agree that a chrome guy could replate it.

    Don't toss it, there are few enough as it is.

    Packard Hawk hood scoop

    Earlier this year I parted out a Packard Hawk. The hood scoop is the only part that I kept, and it's a little rough. I'm curious as to whether or not you guys think it's restorable or not. What should I do with it?
