  • A Tribute to Studebaker - Video - Congressman Samuel Pettengill

I don't think I've ever seen this one before.
There's some factory footage and some 39 Champion clay models. Isn't that Raymond Loewy?

That certainly is Raymond Loewy with Bob Bourke in one of those clips.

      Ok, thanks!
I thought that is Loewy but I didn't realize that other is Bourke.

That is not Bob Bourke, it is Virgil Exner with Loewy. Bourke was not at Studebaker in '39.

Have never seen this before. Thanks for posting. Great film. Loved the brief glimpses of the Champion and the other factory scenes. Likely made in the summer of '39. The Champion was introduced in March. As for Pettengill see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_B._Pettengill Interestingly he left Congress in Jan 1939.

Ok, thanks for the correction Richard!
You never know what might show up on youtube. I wish there was a better copy available. I see you can change the quality to 480p. I suppose you could contact the original poster on youtube to ask for a copy.
