  • 1961 Lark side trim question

Has anyone removed the side trim and used something else or leaving it plain? The original is just strange looking to me.

Why not use 59 or 60 mouldings???

It is one of the finer details that make a 1961 Lark a 1961 Lark! Like the tail lights!!!

I love that front moulding dip down near the headlights but the 'transition' they used between that moulding and the fender moulding looks ugly. What were they think'n?

Besides necessary change, the moulding was supposed to make the car appear lower, like moving the rocker panel moulding up onto the doors of a 1956 Golden Hawk.

I really like this yellow one with no trim.
