  • Anyone else looked???

Looked at the thread titled "Land Cruiser brake parts." I ask this 'cause we have a relative newbie showin' his gem off and not one comment about it. Looks like a damned nice LC to me - and you don't see many of those amidst the clamor for C & Ks.

I had not even looked at the thread because I didn't have any brake parts. I guess I'll have to go look.

        Yes, Bob; pretty car.

I do understand the lack of response, though. Perhaps the title of the thread could be:

        Newbie's 1954 Land Cruiser (pic).

That would get everyone's attention and they'd open the thread.

After the photos had been viewed and properly drooled upon, everyone could then be informed of the needed brake parts...'no need to mention it in the original title.

That sequence would garner many more hits and replies. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

I DID figure the thread title was a non-starter, but it was Keith that innocently started it. After we sorted out his erroneous parts specs, I determined that I had the cable he was seeking, hanging on a nail in the garage. I then asked him to share some photos since I like the sedans. I thought it was appropriate to post them to HIS thread.

I looked and posted after reading this.

I agree with Bob P, a litte better title and he would have gotten alot more responses, but he is new, so no harm no foul....I hope he feels welcome here and not that we intentionally were ingoring him because he was new.
