Now, that is great news for our Club and the Studebaker hobby in general having the word "STUDEBAKER" said and 40 Million* TV viewers hear it!!! You have any idea of what it would "cost" the SDC just to have the "STUDEBAKER" mentioned to 40 Million* people???

      * 39.7 million viewers turned-in to watch the Oscars in 2011

Did anyone ever see the new Muppet movie? Just wondering if there was a Studebaker in it. The post about it just died off without an answer.

Yes the first Muppet Movie featured a Studebaker for several minutes. Worth watching.

I'm sorry I misread the question. I have not seen the newest Muppet movie.

Indeed! You can also go to the Studebaker National Museum and see the car in person!

The question was about the NEW Muppet movie.

Nope- I'm good. I saw it not too long after the movie was made.
I also got to sit in it!!!!

Since the controls up front do nothing- they didn't seem to mind letting kids play in it.

To answer your question, NO, the new Muppet Movie did NOT include any Studebakers, nor any mention of Studebaker. I have to admit that this disappointed me greatly.

Not only a great disappointment to you, but it should be for all us SDC Members and to the Studebaker hobby in general! A great "Studebaker marketing opportunity” for little to no cost has been lost!!! Another prime example of what I've been trying to explain to "Captain Curtis," our new SDC Leader, based on past real world experience of the Corporation I worked for.

Now that StudeDave has a BUS, the International Loadstar can be replaced with a Studebaker, should they decide to do a sequel.

I only turned the Oscars on for a few minutes but the few minutes I watched were of Kemit talking about Studebakers. I guess I watched the most important segment.
