  • Need a Studebaker that needs Turner brakes--FREE INSTALL!

Jim Turner (52 Ragtop on the Forum) will demonstrate installation of his brake conversion on a Studebaker with firewall mounted MC at the Studebaker York Swap Meet.
To that end, we need a Studebaker that needs the brake conversion.
Installation will be free but, you do need to purchase the conversion kit but, you were going to do that anyway.

    Contact Jim to make arrangements.

Agreed that a youtube video would be nice but let's not forget that there are several Turner Brake and other installations, well documented on Bob Johnstones Studebaker site.

I'll be there and I'll try to post some video excerpts. With Jim's permission, of course.

Are the Fairground people really going to allow "car repair" in the building? Just had to ask! :-)

You're saying the demo car needs to already have a firewall mounted MC? That puts my 55k out of the running...but I love the Turner Brake conversion and will probably eventually go front wheels, anyway.
