  • 1957 Packard sold on eBay

I don't think anyone posted about this relist on eBay. It finally sold for $16,000, a pretty good price.

The interior is wrong, and gaudy in my opinion, and there is no blower, but other than that, it's really nice.

    Just discussed here, Chip:

We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

    Ayn Rand:
"You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality."

    G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.

$16K for a '57 Packard with a lot of incorrect stuff..? I'll take $8K for my Broadmoor and it's all stock.. <grin>

In actuality I'd take less than that for it if someone wanted it worse than I do..

Don't feel too bad- the first several times I saw that title- I thought it was about 'Super' cars or Avantis, so I didn't even bother opening it!!! I only found out what it was about when Dad mentioned it to me...
