    Seller must be hoping for two people with VERY high end restorations that need real magnesium wheels. If I had that kind of play money I would buy a couple of nice Studebakers.

        Those are unique, pin drive true knock-off racing wheels and they are NOS. The top-rate seller with 100% positive feedback knows he's got the only set of those in the world and is hoping there's one nutso restorer of an original Sebring Corvette who thinks they are worth $55,000. I'm also betting even nutso restorers of old racing Corvettes would flinch at that asking price.
