OK I will correct.....................The frame is a GT with a convertable X member.......
The former owner was building a convertable 53............Also the frame is boxed down all sides
It will go under my 53 that had a 6 cyd frame.........Now equipped with a 259

How do you mean 'boxed'? Aren't all Stude frames a totally enclosed 'hat section'???? (except for certain crossmembers)

Some captions or individual audio narration would have been nice.

I love the concept and plan to do a C/K convertible myself some day.
But we need more specifics here???

That frame ought to handle a couple of hundred horsepower!

I keep waiting for someone else to ask the question. I guess everyone but me already knows the answer. <G>
What year Studebaker are those valve covers? Or, has someone added breather tubes to a pair of four bolt vc's?

Someone drilled two extra holes in a set of two bolt valve covers. I was also a little confused when I put the engine together. Now the question is, do you keep the partial flow filter or do you do away with it and the oil fill pipe? Maybe it's one of the early Nascar engines with three oil fill openings!!!

Oops, I just noticed that the front standpipe has already removed. I need to go back to bed...
