    I ran this photo in an Almanac column some years ago but never received a positive identification. My guess is that it was not a Studebaker authorized toy wagon but something put out by a toy company. I do know that several companies were building pedal cars in the 20s with various names on them differing mostly in the design of the radiator shell. This one is unusual however in construction. I have never seen another one like it in pictures or "in the flesh."

    This is not to be confused with the wooden coaster wagons made by South Bend Toy Co. with the Studebaker name on them.
