  • Surprise-surprise, progress on Leo

I want to thank everyone who has expressed their concerns as to weather Leo was getting the attention he deserves. He isn't, but he does get a little bit.
Here is a pic that I snapped today.
A while back (about two years) I went to the Chevrolet dealer and purchased two new 1966 HiPo Corvette exhaust manifolds. 2 1/2" outlets.
After working on them with a plasma cutter, grinding disc, then a sanding disc, I let my guy in the polishing shop give them a good polishing (about 10 hours labor total). Then I sent them to my ceramic coating guy and had a 'Chrome Look' ceramic finish applied to them.
This is just to prove that he isn't being totally ignored. <G>

I am sure you have posted it before, but what kind of car is Leo? He looks like he is getting a really nice retoration/build up.

What dose the left side look like ? I've have SS manifolds on my 55. They are reveresed to dump in front for clearance and possible turbo installation at a latter date.

Your car really looks good. I didn't realize you had changed to a R&P steering set up. I've still got the orig. Studebaker steering in mine, that is why I used ths SS manifolds.

Giving Leo a bit of attention the last few days.
I finished the passenger door panel about six years or so ago. Took another pic of it today, that's why it has a current date.
Today, I finished the driver's door.

Tomorrow I'll polish and install the garnish moldings and the doors will be done.
