  • Busy Day with Our Champ Truck

We spent this morning with our Champ truck parked in front of the local grocery store collecting donations for our local food bank. The food bank is called OCEF which stands for Ortonville Community Emergency Fund. We live in a small town but in 3 hours we were able to fill the back of the truck.

This afternoon we drove the truck in Ortonville's Christmas parade advertising for OCEF. We got lots of comments about the truck and heard a couple Studebaker stories too. Not a bad day for cruising considering we live in Michigan and it's December.

Now that is what I would call a first class way to combine a hobby with a great cause.
