  • More progress on the 52

    I put the hood ornament, headlight rims, exhaust extensions, seat belts and Olds flippers on the 52 today. It is almost ready for SB!

            Looking good []. The flippers are perfect!

            We need to get the nose down a tad. Maybe another South Bend project like Bob's transmission project?

            I think I'm liking those 2 door sedans more than the Starlights.

                Yes, I agree. That is why I was glad that you posted how much you cut out of your springs on the technical forum. I need the transmission seminar more though because my 3rd gear synchronizer is bad. I have to shift very slowly. It certainly won't be ready for the drags on Friday. It takes about 10 seconds just to shift! [:0]

                        You going to paint the primer spots with the paint you used on the inner fenders??? The car is looking great! I wish I was as far along as you are.
