I didn't notice those nerf bars until I was posting this pic as eye candy...

As to the engine, it was running when I took the pic, and sounded like a taxiing B-25 Mitchell...absolutely thunderous. Nothing else would do, of course, in a car like this! The body appears to be a '63. I've no idea whether the engine was or wasn't Stude, but it sure was LOUD.

I like all, save for those ridiculous "bars". UGH - they're just dumb.

I don't know, I think those nerf bars are okay. I assume it is a competition look the owner was going for and those nerf bars fit the bill. Of course that is just my opinion.

Loosing those bumpers = less wind drag and less weight and does not look as bad as painted bumpers you see on C/Ks..............

I like it. A lot. Seriously, now. I'm not kidding. It's great. Can I have it?

I would drive it if it wasn't too loud and I am not a "kid". I like cars to perform, not make a loud announcement. I don't care for the hood bulge, but I guess that is necessary for what is underneath.

I agree. The assymetrical hood bilge was one of the prominent styling cues built into the design. The scoop may be necessary for function but it does spoil the design.

I do like the flames though.
