BTW John, are you (or the seller) going to mail me the title and bill of sale? I don't think it'll take me too long to have the old girl on the road.
The title and paperwork is in the priority mail box in the back along with a bunch of stainless and some pot metal. Use the stainless as you need it and toss me a few bucks if and when you sell it. Jerry can do the same with the pot metal.JDP Maryland

I know I have said it already on other related threads, but, Matt, Nice new ride. That is gonna look really nice all cleaned up and loaded with SS as your Tailgater ride.
AND, JDP, you are a really cool guy. You are ANOTHER one of those guys that give this Studebaker crowd and this website/club a really good name. I dont doubt that you had some fun playing with Penny {?} but still, from the outside it seemed like you have gone out of your way to help a fellow SDCer out and that is cool.
How long till it gets to GA. ? Monday afternoon?

I've had many Studebaker folks go out of the way to help me, so it sort of catches on. Pat for example bought a car for me to flip years ago, and his payment was a few bucks to take his girl friend out and even than, he never asked for even that.
From what I know of Matt, it seems a lot us us got his help, and in turn would be willing to return the favor.JDP Maryland

Well, the next day I got a call saying I'd won the raffle Avanti. Thing is about Karma, you can't expect what goes around to come around, that's bad Karma, but I've found it often does. Maybe I got that call from the GM at Best Buy asking if I'd except a position as a pro audio specialist rather than a mobile phone sales person was just good luck, maybe not.

Words to live by.
I personally do not believe in Karma per say. Karma is a Hindu religious belief that dictates there is a specific god overseeing a person's Karma. I do however believe in the Bible's teaching of what some call the golden rule. Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31 both teach to do to others or treat others how you would like them to treat you.
I am really, really not trying to be preachy here at all just stating where I found my reasons for trying to be a good person {not always successful unfortunately, but it is my goal} and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that a person who does good things for others is almost always a happier person in life.
Whether a person chooses to call it Karma, the golden rule, or a Bible principle to live by, the concept is a great policy and to be commended.
Very nice thought on not going into situations with expectations of getting something back. That is a genuine goodness, just doing good because you want to. Any reciprocation or positive outcome that returns to you would merely be a bonus.
Once again you stand out as a great representative of the Studebaker community and this website.
I have already, in 2 months or so here, have had some really great help both in simple advise and even in generosity, thanks again Roscomacaw {Bob}, and I hope to be in a position in the future to offer the same help back....p.s. if anyone has a motorcycle racing or riding related question feel free to ask...that I know. LOL
