I've got a -55 Champion Regal 4-door, also with wrap-around windshield but also a "chrome" (stainless steel) shader above it & fatter trim on the side but not that pretty bit between the rear door & rear window, so what's this?

That one is a mid-level 'W4' Deluxe Commander, and Champion would be similar, but not exactly the same chrome layout. Yours is a Regal 'W6' Champion if it has the chrome visor above the windshield. Does your body tag state 'W6' on it?
