We did get a lot of rain ( a neighbor's gauge said 17") and wind for a couple of days. No power, land line phone or cable from Friday morning until yesterday late afternoon. Still no cable. With no power there was no internet, lights or water (when you live in the country your water comes from a well and electric pump) I tried following the fourm on my cell phone, but that didn't work so well. Besides I had to go to the car to recharge it. Things are better now. Lots of road, bridges and stuff out in the area. I have never seen the Cape Fear River as high as it is now and I have lived here since 1959. Even Hurricane Fran which came right through here was not as bad as what we got from this storm. Glad to be back and appreciate your worrying about us. We did okay compared with so many others just down the road.

                  • #6772; is there any US cars who had that kind of hubcaps?
It sure look like Opel hubcaps to me.

I believe they were also used on early post war cars.
