    Maybe not back then, but a few years ago, some makes such as BMW, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar and Porsche offer "Certified Used Cars" with full warranty and do display them in a showroom.

                    • He dug a hole in the ice to the water. Then dug a hole next to it less than half as deep. Then he put a pea between the 2 holes. When the fish came up to take a pea, he would kick it in the ice hole.
