In the McDonald's pic, three of the five visible cars were Ramblers. This must have been the McDonald's in Kenosha, WI!

My thought exactly, Bill. In fact, being on the waterfront, maybe that's why the Kenosha Mickey-Ds can offer a Filet-O-Fish for only 24 cents! <GGG>

The cars seem to have all the same license plates, more or less. Can anyone blow up the plate and read the state? (A little poetic license [plate] there, you'll note! More <GGG>) BP

People often complain about the aero blob cars we have now that all look alike. But to be honest, while I love virtually all 50s cars just for the nostalgia and chrome, that pic of the parking lot of that ski lodge many of those car have so much of the same basic body shape. Seems like styles often follow a theme and everybody succumbs to that eras standards.

Nice to see Studebakers that often stand out so much. It may in the end have played a roll in Studebakers lack of popularity over the years but it sure has endeared them to us people who love the different for its day looks.
