  • Photos from today's Studebaker swap meet in Hudson Wisconsin

Thanks to all involved in making this swap meet possible as I always have a good time there. I picked up a Hawk fan shroud from Bob40 and bought some various parts that I didnt need (but were too good of a deal to pass up). Spoke to many familiar faces and met some new folks too and saw some nice Studebakers as well.

Would of loved to have gone. To many projects before winter. Any good deals this year?
Also would of loved to have gone to the chapter meeting and picnic. Just far to busy. Sorry

Thanks for sharing the pictures Claude, you even caught me looking at a pair of NOS Champ pickup door panels.

RE: That Erskine Rat Rod... Was it clear coated with flat clear or ?? Just wondering how it keeps that "freshly sandblasted" look.

Hi Claude. I'm curious about the dry filter aircleaner that has Studebaker on it. I have an NOS just like it on my 259 2Bbl./ The way that decal is put on would make it face the firewall on my application. Looks authentic, but decal in the wrong place, maybe?

I dont think there was any clear coat on it, just simply a 'fresh' work in progress.

Darn and I missed Jim Bahr. I hope he is in good health. I really enjoy talking and working with him. He is an outstanding parts supplier.

Didn't take a good look. I believe it would be a 6 Cyl air cleaner.

Thanks, Claude. Makes sense. I bought mine on eBay and it sits perfectly on my 2BBL V8. I wouldn't have known they were specific for 6 or 8 cyl. I got lucky, I guess.

A fella looking at it told me that the owner wanted $30,000 for it. If you want the owner's number, I may be able to get it for you.
