Many thanks to all the people I met at my first Stude meet up. I literally finished my assembly at 10pm last night with the last fin and trim. Rolled it out at sunrise and headed off to Waxahachie. Hard to believe that last photo was less than a month ago or so.

    Here is my Hawk reborn

It was a one-owner car by some miracle. Previous owner was in the Army-Air Corpse during WWII and left as a major. The car has been named "The Major" in his honor.

I want that car. Same year and color combination of my first stud in 1963. All I would have to do is change the interior to cloth, replace the V8 with a flathead 6, and maybe put a 3 speed on the column. I would be back in 11th grade again. Beautiful car.
