ID:	1733988I believe these were October 2009. There are 33 of them and I don't want to wear this out, so I'll post a few at a time? Click image for larger version

Is that a 38 coupe in one of the pictures?

Drive back there and get some better closeups of the 38 coupe , and don`t stop for gas !

Reminds me of Tommy Karkiewicz' farm outside of South Bend! Tommy has (had?) way more cars, but most of them were Larks.

Roy is getting elderly by now & I believe his son has taken over his small parts business.A few years ago he considered these cars restorable.Maybe a few were then & I see some good parts on the remaining cars.He used to bring a few parts to the Barrie flea market, but i have not been for a few years so I don't know if he still attends.

Yup: a 38 coupe with that little teardrop, heart shaped back window? These were all parts cars and Roy made the trip quite regularly to the Barrie Flea market, but not for the last year or two. He has helped so many people and always took time to identify parts or give advice. His kind of knolwledge is getting scarce.

The very first picture is a rather special 4 speed Hawk. He has the (I think) one off interior stored inside. Shame that the Hawk is rusty, because it would make for a a verrrry interesting car, as Arte Johnson used to say.

He has some rather interesting vehicles stored away inside, like his "very special order by a determined little old lady long term customer" 1966, the Rockne, and of course, the 47? 49? 48? Commander convertible. Some of those parts cars were much worse looking on the outside than they actually were in reality a few years ago--lots that could be harvested. I have benefited for some of those harvests. Some were even restorable, although they looked awful on the surface.

I've seen the convertible and others in the barn. He has some nice cars. Not much light in there for pix. Much of the larger NOS items were also in the barn, but I think he has moved most to his son's home. If anyone cares to visit, I still have Roy's phone # that I'll PM to any SDCers.

Fall colors and rusty Studebakers. Doesn't get much better than that. Second picture in first post sure looks like T/W cover material to me.
