Man, I need those! I can't bid because I don't have a credit card, though, and the bid is already up to $63.00! I know that probably isn't too bad considering the rarity of these things, but I've already tapped out the paycheck on my '61 just getting it to stop running hot, so it looks like I'm gonna have to deal with the old cracked lenses for awhile longer.

            Dear friends.

Take care on this. It seems that he is selling just one lens. Not the pair.read carefully the description of the item. "It fits both sides...."

Even though it's only one of those rare lenses, it is easily worth $150.00 or more, so I am not surprised that it's already at $107.00 !

When Chuck Collins some day gets his reproductions done, it's value will crash to about $10-20 more than the repros!

Now, I have seen some 61' lenses before where that side lense was clear instead of red. What is the reason behind that? Is one more authentic than the other?

The answer to that is pretty simple, it would be illegal to use those! They are poor condition used ones, that the red has faded out or rejects that did not get enough red dye in the added in side marker light lense portion. [xx(]

I'll bet the "eBay Effect" pushes it up to $200.
